I am pissed that the 6th Harry Potter film's release date has been pushed back from November 21 to July of 2009. It was three months away, I was pumped up, and the only excuse those media people could give me is because they wanted to "take advantage of an open summer slot." That irritates me because HP is a phenomenon. The exact same people are going to see it in November as in July. It's the 6th installement in a series, how many new viwers do you actually think you are going to get? Grr, I hate how money and profits drive everything. I guess the only good news is that I will not just be finishing the 6th book again by the time the movie comes out. Since Anthony and I read the books to each other and are currently about 500 pages into the 5th book I was guessing that we would be into or almost done with the 6th book by the end of November. And reading the book right before the movie came out was a big reason why I was disappointed in the 5th movie when I initially saw it.

Anyways...back to Tuesday. I stayed at the golf course until midnight even though I knew I had to work both jobs on Wednesday, but it was fun. Heard some crazy paranormal stories from Maria and Angela and there were some classic moments, such as, "Andrea just drew the whole neighborhood." But the best was Ken's, "Gina's in the army?" It was great when he just kept going with it and when Angela was talking about Colleen's Irish Pub he goes, "I didn't know they had a base there." Ok, so clearly you had to be there and know Ken (and maybe have a couple of drinks, but it was hilarious.)

Wednesday was a weird day. My stomach wouldn't hold anything down, everyone at work must have thought I had some issues what with how many times I went to the bathroom. Then I went to the Hill and was super light-headed and dizzy. I stuck it out for about three hours, until Lynne came up to the gate, took one look at me and said, "You're going home." Well ok, no arguements there.

And on a final parting note, on my drive to work today, there was this lady behind me who was digging in her nose and then putting her finger in her mouth everytime she took it out of her nose. She did this probably four or five times. It was gross but I was enthralled and couldn't tear my eyes away. Then she rubbed her finger behind her ears and put her finger in her mouth again. She then proceeded to do this with her other ear. Now, I'll admit I'm a pretty gross person and very much into the TMI but this was just too much for 7:30 in the morning. Vomit tux.

So, Tuesday.

I actually golfed fairly well considering I didn't go at all last week (crazy work schedule.) I got a 50 with a five on 9; damn taking two shots to get out of the sand...wuss.

Anyway, Chris finally decided it was my turn to be Golfer of the Week. She picks someone every week and asks them 4 random questions and I was supposed to be Golfer of the Week in early June but then we kept getting rained out and I couldn't come for various reasons, but my turn finally came. My questions were "Who has the coolest name in sports?" (Bubba Franks), "If I could kareoke to any song," (Man, I Feel Like a Woman), "People would be surprised to know I" (was tear gassed in the State riots of '05) and "My first concert was, (NSync at the Silverdome.) After I answered the last question, Joanie, who was sitting next to me goes, "Hell, mine was fucking Ricky Nelson!"

Chris also tried to ask the now infamous, "How often do you serve chicken?" question but I told her I couldn't answer that with my mom sitting right there, because loosely translated the question is how many times a week do you have sex? But after our circle expanded and my mom got further away from me and I drank more of my cosmo, Chris goes, "Well not that she's all the way over there, how often do you serve chicken?" to which I quickly responded, "Two or three," which warranted a high-five from Chris and Angela to go, "That's all?" I then had to explain to her that I can easily work up to 60 hours a week, I have been in this relationship for three years, and I'm not allowed to stay the night with him. So I think two or three times a week with all of that other shit is pretty good.

I may die at work next Wednesday if plans go through. Amie, Kristina, and I may go to Shores Inn after golf next Tuesday and whenever we stumble out of there I'm just going to stay at Kristina's since they live in Grosse Pointe Woods and are five minutes from the hospital. I can get up past 7 and still be at work at 8. Although if we are at the bar, who knows what time I would even go to sleep. Oh well, should be fun.

My hellacious two days of doing nothing but work related events has commenced. These Thursday/Friday combo shows are going to wear me out pretty fast.

So, weekend.

I ditched work early on Friday (and by early I mean 3:30) because once again there was no one in the office. I think when I left Jen was the only one that was still there. So I stopped at Subway and then went to Anthony's for a little bit before we went to the Hill. I was not told of the construction that was going on on Schoenherr so we had some issues and were about 15 minutes late for work.

Crazy Amanda was at the Tigers game so Stephanie worked at the gate with me. She normally works at main gate so even though we were busy she was like, "WTF" because compartively, we were kind of slow. The place was pretty packed, I never got the final count from Ross but my guess was around 5,500. We had a few issues and Amber got in some guy's face and almost kicked him out and I was all excited. Shit normally doesn't happen right at our gate. It happens near the gate a lot but not ever right at the gate with our security guards.

Although I had my own set of issues Friday night. It was getting near the end of the show and I got that not so good feeling that let my brain know that I had leaked through my tampon. Not good when you are wearing khaki shorts that are so thin you can't even wear underwear with them. I went to the bathroom to assess the situation and it wasn't that bad but I knew it was only going to get worse if I didn't fix it immediately. I ran into Autumn on the way out of the bathroom and she was of no help. I then cornered my Aunt Sharon who had nothing but then asked both of her friends and all they could come up with was a pad, which obviously wouldn't work, as I have I already mentioned my lack of underwear. Well Aunt Sharon then took it was her personal mission to find me a tampon, even going as far to ask Gino, whose response was, "Yeah we can get her one. It's generic though." This was followed by Don heading out to one of the storage bins with a flashlight and coming back with his hands held discreetly behind him. I told him he was my hero...although this is the second time I have had heroes at Freedom Hill for this same reason.

Our new blue shirts really need to learn how to clean up the fucking ampitheater. I usually go throw and pick up miscellenous things that people miss instead of going up and cleaning the Hill and in years past I might get a handful of stuff but the past two shows I have ended up with a whole bag of garbage. There is no excuse for missing that much stuff, especially since most of it is in the cup holders and right in the middle of the fucking aisle. I have bitched to Lynne about it (she even hit me when I said "bitch" even though there was no one around the two of us) and I know she understands, but really, what can you do?

I stayed at Anthony's on Friday night since my parents were up north and we were going to East Lansing early in the morning. We left at 7:30, were at Becky's dorm a little after 9:00, went to the stifling hot apartment (although I'm not complaining because that means less drama with the Consumer's bill) got everything into Anthony's car, turned in my keys and were back at home by noon. I napped/lounged for most of the afternoon until we went to Amanda's graduation party. Amanda and I went in the moonwalk for a little bit where all the kids laughed at me because when I bounced on my butt, I didn't immediately bounce up on my feet like the rest of them. Oh the joys of being 7 again. There were also these twin baby girls there (Amanda's cousins I think.) They are only a few months old and they are so adorable, Anthony and I wanted to take them home. We stayed there for a few hours but didn't make it to beer pong time.

Yesterday I had nothing to do so that's exactly what I did, nothing. And it felt good.

Between today and yesterday, that's the amount of time I will have spent doing the above activities. Translation: I have done nothing but work. But that just means next Friday I will have some hefty paychecks. And last night at the Hill was a blast. We had only sold about 1100 tickets prior to show time but ended up with a total of 4300 people. That's a TON of walk-ups. God bless vouchers. At the end of the night we had to hand out more vouchers (Al Green, Bow Wow, Ultimate Doo Wop, and Boyz II Men) and I was not happy at first because I thought there was no way we could hand out stuff for that many shows but it worked out nicely and we had a huge crowd of people more less shopping right there at the gate and we went through almost all of the vouchers we had for Boyz II Men and did run out of Al Green. It was honestly probably the most fun I have had at the gate, I normally hate handing out stuff at the end of the night because it's hard to say good-night to people when you are trying to pawn stuff off on them but these people were just so accepting of what we were giving and kept coming back for more.

I am jealous of John. He works at the main gate and on Tuesday he came in and he had on the back of his shirt, "No re-entry." Amanda tried to tell him that he had stolen her copyright idea because we have always said we have wanted to put something like that on the back of our shirts so we wouldn't have to talk to people. Well yesterday he comes into work and on the back of his shirt it says, "Don't ask." Loved it. He said it was either that or "Shut the fuck up," which, while not very professional, would have been highly entertaining.

I had coffee for the first time in two months today. I got it the first week or two I was working but more than anything, it just ended up giving me a headache later in the day so I cut it out, since I got used to getting up at 6am anyway. Well, I knew I had no choice but to go to Beaner's today since I got 5 hours of sleep and am facing another 15 hour work day. I got an iced Caramel Marvel and oh my God, so good. It was like crack. My first sip and I was like, "Why did I stop getting you?" I don't think I am going to make it a habit again though because now my tummy is rumbling and in the long run, it will save me money to not drink it.

I got the best possible parking space today. *happy dance* Maybe that will make my day much more bearable. We didn't punch out at the Hill last night until 11:45 so I am exhausted right now. I also apparently forgot to set my alarm last night and slept in by 20 minutes. I know that's not too bad but I have my morning routine fixed to the minute so I still felt rushed. But in the long run, I still got to lay in bed after my shower and go downstairs and read the headlines of the paper and I still got to work at the same time. Maybe I will be waking up at 6:15 instead of 6:00 from now on. Or at least for this week since we also have shows on Thursday and Friday.

We had our first really drunk and rowdy crowd last night so it was fun to finally watch people being kicked out, one woman who threw her beer on a security guard, and just having to deal with all these crazies. My personal favorite, which I didn't even experience firsthand, was when some guy called Anthony "Princess." He's been called many an insult at that place before but Princess is a new one for the list.

After I got home from work on Friday I took a nap that lasted about two and a half hours. Glorious. I love the weekends.

Saturday, Anthony and I were supposed to go up to East Lansing to retrieve the rest of the belongings from the Apartment of Doom but Becky was working 11-6 so we had to reschedule for hopefully sometime in July. So instead we spent Saturday hanging out at home and then going to Travis's and playing games with him and Kim. We played movie SceneIt and we paired off as couples which was obviously the best decision because as Kim said, the two of us wouldn't even get a chance to play if Anthony and Travis were on the same team. We then played two games of Uno and in the second game I swear I must have had at least 30 cards in my hand at one point. After that we moved onto the game of Life which Anthony dominated at and Travis stole all of Kim's money.

Yesterday was work at the Hill. Sara Evans was there and it's always fun when it's a show where I can sing along. And for a country show we had surprisingly few issues at the gate. We had the usual confiscation of candy and umbrellas and one lady who insisted that we "were not very nice" because she "wasn't feeling well" and we wouldn't go let her sit in her car and then come back in. Oh and Uncle Gary beat me with his cane again. Good times.

I am so exhausted right now. But last night was fun so I shouldn't complain.

After my 8 hour work day of MySpacing yesterday, I had to go to Freedom Hill to work my first concert of the summer. I ended up getting there early but I figured that would happen when I left Grosse Pointe. Anyway, it's just me, Ross, Lynne, Tony, and Vinnie hanging out in the Greektown tent when the heavens open and it starts POURING. It stopped as suddenly as it started but about 10 minutes later it started up again. It was highly entertaining to watch all of our fellow co-workers running crazily to the tent like they weren't going to be soaking wet. But apparently it was not all fun and games in the rain department, I heard that the 19 & Schoenherr area was more or less a war zone with trees down everywhere and such.

The weather was perfect for the show though and we surprisingly didn't have to turn away that many umbrellas at the gate, no more than a normal show. Everything at the gate actually went quite smoothly, if all the shows were like that my job would be a cake walk (more than it already is.)

Afterwards a group of us (me, Anthony, Amanada, Chris, Jane, Brad, and Pete) went to BDubs. 'Twas fun although they all ripped on Anthony and I because we didn't wear our blue shirts inside so we were not representing properly. We had a good time talking about crazy people at the show and the midget security guard. I want to see what would happen if she had to break up a fight or kick someone out. I do believe that would be my Freedom Hill highlight of the summer, even more than yesterday when Amanda asked the valet guys if they had to shave their legs to work for Jarrod.

Oh, and the martini in my icon? I want one for realz.

I am convinced that I-94 hates me. It either takes me less than the allotted 45 minutes to get home (and for those days I am gratfeul) or shit happens and it takes an hour and a half. Like today, I was at the slowest crawl ever between Little Mack and 12 Mile that I was convinced there was an accident and had to call Kristen and tell her I was going to be late because it was almost 8:00 and I wasn't even at 12 Mile yet. Anyway, right after 696 every opens up and we are moving perfectly again. No accident, no construction, no nothing. What the hell 94, what the hell?

I have to work at Freedom Hill tonight so we'll see how I do working both jobs and then having to work again tomorrow morning. I sense a nap tomorrow afternoon.

I miss baby Casey. He is so freakin adorable, I wanted to keep him all for myself. I almost want to go to Boston and stay with Chris and Amy just so I can be with the baby. That and Boston itself is pretty cool when we made the day trip there.

Ok, 'tis my first update in over a year. And what prey tell do I want to do? Yes, go back to paid status so I can have more icons. How does that make any sense? I can have 15 right now and it literally pained me to go through and delete the 90+ inactive icons I had just so I could add this new Snape one.

I have a problem.

Just a quick recap of some moments/quotes from the long weekend of graduations.

-"It's Jeff with two F's when you call and complain."

-"I didn't know what to ask for Secret Santa this past year so as a joke I wrote porn. And the lady got me two $9.99 videos, a magazine, and a sticker that says, 'Vaginas are way cool.'"
"Do you still have the tapes?"
"No, I traded them for two crappier ones."

-"Porn is like baseball cards, you can only look at the same one so many times before you need something new."

-JJ getting bumped by a car and then the driver saying that he was in his way. Kyle's response later: "Well what if a tree was in your way? Would you just run into it?"

-The rudest people ever apparently send their children to Dakota.

-Parents trying to get Kyle to fire himself. "What's going to happen when they call and complain? The call is going to be sent to me and I'm not going to fire me."

-The principal of Chippewa laying the smack down when the kids starting throwing beach balls around.

-"Look how cute she is, she can't walk!" Because Autumn loves old people.

-And finally ending the night with, "Blow me!" and Jeff going, "I love you guys."

Two weeks from now I will start an internship. I went to talk to Lauren today and it was just a basic overview of what I will be doing. I won't be starting until the last weeek of June because she is going to Florida the week after next. I don't know any specifics yet but it appears I will only be working 3 days a week for an, as of yet, undetermined wage but at least I get paid and I will actually be working at a real job. And Lauren said to me the two most beautiful words I have ever heard, "business casual." I can wear my golf clothes to work. Thank God because my mom was just bursting at the seams to go out and buy me business suits and skirts and all sorts of grown-up clothes that I am just not ready to wear yet.

In other news, I am getting way back into the Harry Potter thing again. I am currently on the fourth book and am watching the movies as I finish the books. Which, as we all know, means my attraction to Snape is coming back full force. Which also means that my Snape/Hermione shipper mind is back. And I have just found out that Anthony thinks Emma Watson is cute (he won't call her hot until she turns 17 aka basically how old she is in the current movie.) So what we have here is a boyfriend and girlfriend who each have a thing for someone in my crazy ship. I'll let your minds wander as to what we could possibly do with this information.

Oh and just so I can backtrack and say this-remember when I said that the Pistons own your soul? Yeah, they turned into a joke real fast.

*My wisdom teeth surgery went well. The IV knocked me out good and the pain wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I took Vicodin for a few days, which pretty much made it so I couldn't sleep for more than 4 hours at a time at night. And everytime after I took one, 20 minutes to a half hour later, I fell asleep for an hour.

*First show at the Hill was last Sunday and even though the weather forecast never got above 60 degrees, most of the people were still idiots who forgot to bring in coats and/or blankets so Autumn and I had an awesome time telling people there was no re-entry literally every other minute.

*10th Annual MJ Classic was on Saturday and we had official shirts this year. We also had a draft this year and I, as a captain, drafted Aunt Joan, Amy, Emily, and Erin. We were at a disadvantage the entire time because we were all girls and therefore didn't have a long second shot and would never have the opportunity to birdie a whole. Either way we finished four over and had a putt-off with Steve's team for last place and even though we lost we played as best we could. Oh and Anthony was on my dad's team and had a Tiger Woods-esque putt for par on the last hole.

*After the MJ Classic, Anthony and I went up to his cottage. It was a fun time except for the lame-o fact that his mom made us all go to the movies to Shrek 3 (I think the whole "going to the movies as a family thing" is lame and should not be continued after the children in the family are over 10.) She also was taking enough pictures to make a Japanese tourist jealous...and come on, this is the cottage where she spends most of her weekends anyway. I just didn't like the feeling that every other step I took was photo documented.

*My mother is driving me crazy but that's not anything new. One more year and hopefully I will have a job that will give me enough money so that I can move out.

Today is my last day with my wisdom teeth. So tomorrow I will be hopped up on Vicodin, woo!

I got to work at the Hill for almost 4 hours yesterday just doing random crap but I also got to see Mr. Bury since the DARE kids were there for some kind of performance. Then I had to pick up food for the people in the office and I don't know how it happened but some how I ended up making $6 by doing that. And of course it was hot as hell the entire time I was at work but as soon as I get to the golf course it starts raining. We were just going to have cocktails and have dinner and then go home but it got nice again just long enough for us to get 9 holes in. I shot 49, much better than my sucky 56 last week. I stayed for dinner since it started pouring again as soon as we got inside and even though it was 10 minutes until the start of the Pistons game, I figured I'd get home in time to see the second half. Although in the long run none of that mattered since the Pistons haven't even shown up to play the last two games. I think they just thought this series was a gimme and now Chicago is playing like they want it more. Pistons better get their act together and just close out the series tomorrow in Chicago because as of right now I have no confidence in them if they take this to a game 7.

Also, I may have just become an innovator in my workplace. I hope my idea is put into motion and pans out.

Grades are finally all in and I did, in fact make Dean's List (3.68 for the semester) with the following grades:
GBL 323- 3.5
SOC 322- 4.0
IAH 211C- 3.5
MGT 325- 4.0
SOC 216- 3.5 (Not bad considering this is the class I skipped all the time and when I did go it was never for more than half an hour.)

Orientation at the Hill tonight and it's probably a little sad that I am excited. But I get to see all the people I haven't seen last summer and a new season is underway which equals money. Maybe I will also put in Marietta's application to date Kyle.

Also, Pistons own your soul.

With my sun roof open and over $400 in cash on my person, headed toward the bank, all I could think was "Ahh, summer." Although in that time all of that cash went to pay bills and the drunk incompetent managers at my boy's place of employment cut everyone's hours again, but still it's summer and I am free from the stress of school for almost four months.

To celebrate the fact that I am at home and am officially a senior in college, Anthony and I went out for drinks at Dave and Buster's and then played the game where it takes your picture and shows you what your future child will look like. Our children were kind of scary looking at first but then we got home and compared them to Anthony's baby picture and they look eerily similar, especially for one of them being generated by a computer.

Also, pending my final two grades to be submitted, I am almost positive that I made the Dean's List this semester, which I believe should be celebrated my going out for more drinks.

I have two "finals" left. I use the quote because one is an open book, open note exam and the other is a take home paper which I finished today. So basically, I have mentally checked out for the semester and it feels good.

I made a buttload of money working Gino's prom party on Saturday and for once made a killing when selling back my books but it's all a moot point seeing as I know have a $100+ ticket to pay. Stupid cop for pulling me over. Sure, I was speeding and he was nice enough to only write me up for 75 in a 70 (when I was going 86) so I wouldn't get any points on my license, but still I 90mph is normally my average on I-69. I have gone that fast past cops tons of times but of course I get pulled over the last time I am driving up to school for the semester.

I will say this now, I am not nearly as upset about the Lions drafting Calvin Johnson as I originally thought I would be. And it made total sense, when after drafting Drew Stanton in the second round, we traded Mike Williams and Josh McCown to the Raiders. I just hope Calvin Johnson is as good as everyone says he is and doesn't end up a bust like most of our wide receiver draft picks. I would love to have an awesome receiving pair of Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson but I am trying not to get my hopes but because come on, it's the Lions and they have yet to not let me down year after year. But it's May, preseason is three months away and this is the time for hope.

Rachel and I want to go and do kareoke somewhere. There has to be some place that has kareoke that is not 21+ so Rachel can get in.

I went to Ford on Friday to do observations for my sociology paper. I spent the whole day with Madame Kort and it was fun to catch up, hear the gossip about her daughters, and whatnot. I also got to see Allmacher and I have to admit, he looked damn good, even though he kept saying how old he was. I think he was saying that so I wouldn't hit on him but whatever. Deflate the ego a little bit buddy.

Went to Joe's basketball game and it was very exciting. They won 56-55 in overtime after they only scored one basket in the first quarter, causing the coach to give them the speech of, "You guys are embarrasing. If you hit the rim, you get a point."

I held a newborn baby for the first time in...forever, on Saturday. Anthony and I went to go visit Lindsay and meet Alexa and she is the most adorable little baby. I was really nervous when I first held her but I felt like I got more relaxed the longer I held her. She slept the entire time we were there and I never wanted to let her go. Being there made me want a baby although there is no way I could have one now. I almost want to fast-forward to when I am married and have more money than I have now so I can have my own babies.

I took Anthony golfing with me and Joey at Burning Tree on Sunday even though he only hit the ball a few times and just walked with us the rest of the time. I'm going to take him to the driving range a few times before Mark's birthday party so hopefully he can hit the ball every time he attempts to. I shot a 48, which I was really proud of for my first round of the season, especially since I felt like I was hacking it around most of the time.

Sunday night we went to Travis' and played the Wii. I didn't like the golf game because I couldn't get away from my normal golf swing the bowling and tennis games were cool.

And now since I can't have any entry without mentioning sex...we had sex in candlelight the other night and it was pretty cool. A lot better than in pitch black and not as loserish as with the TV on in the background, which is what we normally do. We also did it in the bathtub which was tons of fun. (And counts as shower sex so one more thing is now crossed off my list.)

Overall, awesome weekend.

Having one burnt out bulb in my room makes for some fun "mood lighting" but it's not fun when I have to do homework and use the computer. I have a feeling I will be getting a headache fairly soon.

We had young children helping us today at work. A group of 8th graders came through the caf and then we had two girls working in the dishroom with us. I don't know about everyone else but if I had to do something like that when I was 13, that would have been one crappy field trip. Hell, I don't even like doing at 21 and I am getting paid for it. But it made the last 45 minutes of work easy because I didn't have to do anything.

Rachel and I went to IHOP and Baskin Robins today. Good times. 31 cent scoop night on the Wednesday of finals week! And I'm bummed out that the Lansing Lugnuts don't have a home game during the Thursday of finals week, I wanted to go for $2 beers.

So I was all excited yesterday thinking that I finally had my period figured out to a science. I was so sure it was going to come today, I told Anthony, I even told Rachel (even though neither of them really cared) and of course, I think just to spite me, my uterus has refused to start bleeding today. It is not harboring a fetus, so I don't know what's up.

I learned a valuable lesson this weekend. And managed to traumatize a friend in the process. But when your friend's brother is going to go repelling off your third story balcony, these are the situations I was talking about when I first asked for a video camera. And when situations like this happen, you don't even care that the only tape you have handy is the one you have used to document a sex session between you and your boyfriend.

I rewound the tape, put it on pause, and handed it to Rachel and then hit play. Or so I thought. Instead I had hit rewind and the next thing I knew, Rachel was shrieking and throwing the camera back at me. I knew instantly that she was seeing more of me than she ever wanted to see.

There truly are no secrets between us anymore.

My world is once again coated in white. Rekindling memories of Christmas, children making snowmen, and back when the thought of getting the day of school was an actual possibililty. The only problem with all of this? It is April 11. Seriously Mother Nature, what the fuck? Was it really only three weeks ago that I was wearing capris and flip flops, ordering iced coffees and planning out in my head how I could still wear my flip flops to class but my regular jeans and tennis shoes to work? Three weeks ago I wanted nothing more than to hit a bucket of balls and when Becky asked me to go golfing, I hated having to tell her that my clubs were at home. Well the clubs are now in my trunk and my golf shoes are in the back seat but even my finely tuned searching eyes couldn't find a golf ball in this weather.

I've decided homework will not be done today. Or tomorrow for that matter because tomorrow is Thursday and I never do homework on Thursdays. I've checked out on this semester basically. Sure, I know I will get all the stuff done but for the time being I just feel like taking a break.
